The official countdown is on. Finally! I honestly can't believe we are so close to the holidays and to the end of the year. What a year! A crazy, out-of-control rolling coaster that still makes our heads spin and turn. Boy, we DO need a good little downtime, especially this year. To breathe and to enjoy the simple things in life! That is exactly the purpose of this post: enjoy food and to be more specific, enjoy a festive table with Mediterranean recipes for Thanksgiving.
So, let’s speak about joy and festivities for a change. How have you started preparing for the holidays?
If you allow me, I could assist you and add a Mediterranean twist to your traditional Thanksgiving table.
Truth be told, I am not an expert on Thanksgiving tables simply because I have never attended one. Nevertheless, I am drooling over my keyboard every time I see photos of Thanksgiving tables and dishes, especially the traditional turkey. I mean, it isn't fair! Why not celebrate with an exquisite Thanksgiving menu? I know it is an American tradition and bla bla bla but I love the symbolism behind this celebration. We should definitely celebrate and be thankful for all the blessings in our life.
Does it matter that I am Greek? Does it really matter? For me, it doesn't!
Therefore, I'm excited to share another roundup of Mediterranean Thanksgiving recipes that will create a wonderful culinary experience for our family and guests! Seasonal, delicious, and healthy recipes (many vegetarian and vegan dishes) that you can enjoy all year round and on several occasions.

Love all of your recipes!
But when I make my Tirokeftedi, I use mayo, feta, cayenne pepper, paprika, a little onion and garlic powder!
I love the spice!!!!you need the spice!! Not many other greek dishes with "spicy" spice!! :))))
Sylia says
Hello Jessica. Yes, spicy is always welcome and this is one reason we love Tirokafteri. In Greece, we use "bukovo" that is red hot pepper flakes, a bit less spicy than chili. I absolutely love smoked bukovo (find it online).
